Dr. Jarod Johnson
3D Printing in a Pediatric Dental World:
What you need to know to stop looking and start printing!
A Father, Pediatric Dentist, and innovator for the patients of Muscatine, IA- Dr. Jarod is passionate about education of fellow dentists to become the best they can be in their practice. Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (2009) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (2013) from the University of Iowa, followed by a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Johnson has taught courses on integrating digital workflows in pediatric dentistry, including the use of intraoral scanners for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. These technologies are part of modern digital dentistry, which often connects directly to CAD/CAM and 3D-printing workflows for appliances, models, and restorations.
He has also incorporated advanced materials and modern restorative techniques—such as zirconia crowns and digital-based case planning—into his lectures and clinical practice.
Dr. Ben Popple

Dr. Ben Popple is a pediatric dentist who is passionate about helping children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every time they visit the dentist. He believes that positive early experiences shape a lifetime of healthy smiles, and he takes pride in creating a warm, friendly environment where both kids and parents feel at ease.
Beyond caring for his patients, Dr. Popple is also passionate about teaching and mentoring other dentists. He enjoys sharing his knowledge about the business side of dentistry, helping colleagues build strong, ethical, and successful practices that put patients first.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Popple enjoys spending time with his wife, Deanna, and their two children. As a family, they value creativity, activity, and time together. Dr. Popple loves painting and playing soccer, hobbies that help him stay balanced and energized for the work he loves.
Whether he’s treating a young patient, mentoring a fellow dentist, or enjoying time with his family, Dr. Popple loves to share his wealth of knowledge with many on podcasts, public forums and in 1:1 mentoring.
BJ Kaucher

BJ Kaucher is the proud owner of Kaucher & Associates and a certified public accountant in South Carolina and Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, BJ has been dedicated to providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services to the dental industry since 1999. Her expertise spans tax consulting for small businesses, medical and dental groups, family limited partnerships, and individuals. As the Carolina representative for the Academy of Dental CPAs, BJ is part of a select group of 26 CPA firms nationally that offer progressive services to dental professionals. She’s even shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University Dental School. Outside the office, BJ enjoys relaxing by the pool, traveling to Ohio to visit family with her husband, and spending quality time with her beloved cat, Mr. Biscuit.
